What is a Landmark List?

A Landmark List is written guide on finding life meaning. It can be a simple reflection of things you look forward to or it can be a more detailed outline. Use your list to succeed in daily life, business motivation, family relationships, or in marriage/couple relationships. Write down the things you look forward to and look at the list often. Just as written goals help program your brain for daily decisions, a Landmark List will help increase vision, change your outlook and make life more meaningful. Writing this list will help you process information and find awareness of what brings you purpose.

What I look forward to right now: eating biscuits and gravy, checking my e-mail, dance parties with my babies, Sunday's, teaching my staff, watching a teenager catch a glimpse of their potential, singing in the car (off key), brushing my teeth. I love being a mom: listening to my son read, putting pigtails in my daughters hair, laughing for no reason, digging in the garden together, red light green light, sleep, waking-up in the morning because I get to do it all over again...

What I look forward to in the future: trying on an expensive pair of shoes just to say I did it (I don’t have to buy them I just want to say I’ve been able to wear something over $300), building up resources for my non-profit organization, getting a new copy machine, building my staff...

What makes life good: My family!! Knowing I have given my all. Faith.

Create Your List

What are the top five things you look forward to on a daily basis? What are two things you look forward to over time? It may take a couple of minute for you to start your list but thinking about the good in your life can produce a remarkable change. Check out some examples from people who attended the release book signing.

What's on you Landmark List? What do you look forward to? What makes your life good?

Snuggling with my boys at nap time. Smiling and laughing everyday. Discovering beautiful things in nature. Reading a book. Spending time with my family and friends. Playing the piano. Eating dinner. Taking a nap. Planning my wedding.

"I know this sounds funny but I like the feeling I get when I fold a load of laundry."

"My favorite thing to do in a day is having 5 minutes of quiet time. With no kids. Where I can just be still and think."
